About ScentClones.com
Why This Site Exists
In 2025, a single bottle of Baccarat Rouge 540, Delina Exclusif, or Lost Cherry can cost $350–$600. Most of us can’t (and shouldn’t) spend that every month — yet we still want to smell incredible.
We started ScentClones because we were tired of overpaying for hype, blind-buy regrets, and “almost-but-not-quite” clones that disappear after two hours.
What Makes Us Different
Every single ranking on this site follows the same strict, no-BS criteria:
- 95 %+ similarity — if people can’t tell the difference in a blind test, it doesn’t make the list
- 6–12+ hour longevity — no skin-scents or two-hour wonders
- Under $60 — real savings, not “budget” $120 niche clones
- Zero sponsorships — no brand has ever paid to be included (and never will)
We pull data from the largest fragrance communities on the internet — Reddit (r/fragrance, r/fragranceclones), TikTok (#PerfumeDupe has 5.2 billion views), and Fragrantica’s “This reminds me of” section — then test the top contenders ourselves.
How We Test & Rank
Every post is built the same way:
- Collect the top 30–40 clones mentioned online in 2025
- Blind-buy the top 15–20
- Compare side-by-side with the original (on skin, on clothes, in heat and cold)
- Rank purely by similarity %, projection, longevity, and value
- Publish the full table + honest mini-reviews
No guesswork. No paid placements. Just the truth.
Who’s Behind This?
A fragrance addict who’s spent thousands testing clones since 2020 — and finally decided to share the wins (and warn about the losses) with everyone else.
Got a better dupe? Found a new Lattafa or Armaf beast that dropped this month? Tell us on the Contact page or in the comments — we update rankings fast.
Together, let’s stop wasting money on designer prices in 2025 and beyond.
